Crazy Mycelium
    #453790 - 11/10/01 08:58 AM (22 years, 3 months ago)

My jars are now fully colonised but quite a few of them have quite a bit of mycelium growing into the dry verm layer on top, my question is: when I birth the cakes do I rip off the mycelium strands that have attached themselves to the verm layer, or is there something else i could do??

any help will be greatly apreciated!

When you birth, you'll turn the jar upside down to tap off all the loose verm. What verm remains is fine - no worries mate.

Oh what tangled webs of Mycelium we weave....Peace
