Innoculate with mycelium?

Anyone ever took a jar full of substrate mix and impregnated (if thats the right word) the mix with a strand of mycelium? I have a casing that has mycelium growing upwards, and I was wanting to cut some strands off and use them. Seems like it would work to me.

u dont have to take your full substrate, u can just make some (rather dense) mycelium water and easilyi innoculate more substrate...

i hate wit sigs / if anything i say has something in common with reality, this is a merely a coincidence.

i meant dense to enfatize that water should have plenety of wealthy clean mycelia in _cool_ sterilized water and then into the syringe, its kinda making a spore syringe, but with mycelia instead. but u might have to suck then squirt the syringe some times to get mycelium all break down enough, just not too much... it works if u follow the cleanliness rules.

i hate wit sigs / if anything i say has something in common with reality, this is a merely a coincidence.
