Questions about signs of colonization...

I innoculated my jars on tuesday of this past week, around 10 am. Right now its Friday morning 1:51am ....

Thats about almost 3 days in about 8 hours. I just checked my jars and I dont see any sign of growth, and I'm starting to get worried.

The strand I used was Treasure Coast.

If there is anybody out there who has used treasure coast and innoculated a brownrice/vermiculite substrate, I would like to know if this is to early to look for colonization.

Hopefully i;ll see some signs of growth within two days!

It can take a week or more. Usually within a week.

don't worry... if you didn't innoculate too early after sterilizing, it should come. my first time through it took my jars over a week to show signs of germination (though that was a bad batch. my current batch got going in 2 days!)

Patience is the key! The mycelium will come. Sometimes it takes longer than other times, that's all. You'll be fine. ;)

Whoop! I'm starting to see something. I guess all that paranoia is gone. Lets hope i dont get any foriegn germs/virus. Thanks for the posts.
