question bout colonization

with casing, in a growing kit chamber, does the chamber have to be air tight in order for the mycelium to colonize, and at what temp does it have to be. Exactly how clean and sterile does the area of the chamber have to be to colonize

If the casing is not colonized prior to moving it to the growing chamber there is good chance of contam. Unless the chamber is virtualy sterile. But this is a problem due to the neccesity of fanning. To be safe just cover the casing with a lid or foil until it is colonized fully.
