*Official Sunday morning thread* (08/07/05)

creamrocks' thread is very close to being today's "Sunday morning" thread, but not quite.  That's why I've decided to make this OFFICIAL Sunday morning thread for August 7th, 2005.  This is the very first time that I've been lucky enough to start this thread.  Everyone has always beat me to it in the past.  I looked around to make sure no one had started this thread already and didn't see it.  If I missed it, then I apologize.  Otherwise........

What would a Sunday Morning thread be without the presence of the kindest of keseys, I don't know. It just wouldn't live up to the name!

Who'd ya see play last night?

I saw an awesome show. Sam Champion opened, it was the best of the 20+ sets I've seen them play, followed by Love as Laughter, and then The Hold Steady.

Definitely a lot of energy. And pretty much the entire floor section was one non-stop moshpit throughout the whole show. I was safe in the seats, but it was amazing to watch.

It feels great to finally be able to start a patented Sunday morning Pub thread.  I've been waiting for my chance for a long time.  Don't worry about Krishna, though.  He'll find a way to start them no matter where he is.
