Quake2 is pretty fun.
CS and DoD mods for Half-Life are classic
I heard CS:Source kicks ass
and Battle Field2 looks amazing(I want to get this when I have money for it)

Right now I'm playing a lot of CS:Source and Battlefield 2, both are pretty good games.

I'm a whiz with the choppers in BF2.

It was $60 Canadian. I play on a P4 3.0GHz system, 1gb DDR400 duel-channel RAM and Radeon 9800 Pro agp video. I left all the graphics settings at Medium except for anti-aliasing/anistropic which I like set to 4x/4x. It can get a tiny bit choppy during the first 30-60 seconds of each map while there is still significant hard drive access...but after that it runs smooth. :smile:

Damn I need an upgrade.  I hope a guy I'm talking too likes my offer and my parents will spot me $200 or so.  If and when  I get that game we'll have to play together sometime Trendal :thumbup:

Definitely! I play pretty much every night for a few hours with a bunch of friends from work (drtyfrnk among them).

Battlefield 2 is amazing. My Clan moved to it from BFV. I personally hate the vehicles in BF2. But I love the urban combat. Karkand is the best.

Other games:
Unreal 2003/2004 - always classic
Farcry - simply amazing
Planetside - MMOFPS from Sony Online. great game
GTA: San Adreas - Great game. About equiv to Vice City.
F.E.A.R. - Just got the demo from fileplanet.com HOLY SHIT its scary.
Doom 3 - I hate it
Half-Life 2 - Haven't played it. I was in the peak of my WoW addiction when it came out.

Note: My WoW addiction ended in Jan. when I quit the game.

GUNZ was fun for a while. It's a first person shooter where you gain exp and bounty to buy your equip. www.gunzonline.com

It's free too (BETA).

I hear Battlefield 2 is good. I wouldn't know. My video card has been refusing to run it.
