Texas Tips, for me please.

First off... Im in the Texas region.
I went hunting for a farmers feild with cows on it so that i could ask them if they would mind if i picked mushrooms off of their feild.
After searching i found a *VERY* secluded feild, maybe 1/2 an acre big with roughly 8-10 cows on it.
Farmer told me they are friendly and that i was more than welcome to do my mycology studies on his feild as long as i dont disturb the feild.
I totaly forgot to ask him if he had ever see mushroom growth on his feild after rain storms. Previous feilds i had been to in that area claimed that they had mushroom growth so i hope that the spores traveled a bit, roughly 4 miles.
My Texas Mushroom Hunting guide is in the mail and should be here some time this week. This way ill know the growing conditions of various mushrooms in my area.
What i wanted to ask is, does this feild sound like a good shroom feild, and does anyone else know any tips for a TExas Mushroom Hunter?

Welcome to The Shroomery Evangeliontx...
Please take the time to read the following:
FAQ
I am certain you will find what you need with a little bit of research. You will find Shroomery members to be more responsive if you have done all the research you can possibly do without gaining the results you seek.
Good job in locating a field to hunt with permission. Make sure you are picking ALL types of fungi, rather than just picking copes and cubes. If you happen to be stopped by law enforcement, your "mycology study" pitch will not have any credibility if you have bags loaded exclusively with psychoactive fungi.

Good luck and be safe!
Namaste,
Peaceful Nomad

the shroom ratio of shrooms to shit patties seem to be within a close floor and ceiling no matter where. with that said, your really limiting yourself with 8-10 cows. the more waling you do (bigger fields), the more fruits, quite simply
