My datura OD story

Well I went into a 2 week binge into datura. The final day my parents sent me to the hospital. Where they gave me high doses of various anti-psychotics. They tested me blood levels for tropane alkaloids and it tested %98 percent. Datura also worsened my HPPD.

That sucks dude. Why the hell would you binge on Datura though?

I binged on datura as binging is a classic form of drug use. I had the most hardcore tripping moments during that datura binge.

Things in my peripheral vision will hallucinate (OVE) intensely. My vision has intense tracers. Stuck at a level 3 trip forever. So it seems.

... you binged on Datura because TV told you to? that's what I hear anyways.
It's good to hear you're still alive.

No kidding, that stuff is very poisonous.
Luke, how did you manage to take datura for 2 weeks? First of all, wouldn't your stomach realize it was ingesting a poison and reject it, especially after day one? How did you stay hydrated while on an anticholinergic for such a long time? How did you manage to eat and drink--it's unbelievable that your stomach didn't expel everything you put into it.
I'm totally confused... can't believe it's possible to take such a powerful poison for 2 weeks and survive... how is it that you have not suffered severe liver damage among other things?

Ya, I for sure have mild brain damage now. I am suprised I never lost myself during those 2 weeks. I kept myself pretty together for that much of amount of intoxication.

the brain is a resilient organ- it regenerates itself. if there's brain damage, depending on what it is, it may not be permanent.

Is this supposed to be a brag? you sound like this somehow makes you a cool person that all these druggies on this forum will want to hang out with.
Stupidity is not a badge of courage, son.

That's mainly because he was an amazing writer in my opinion.
He created the stylized Gonzo journalism after all.

Yeah, if you're gonna brag then write up some good trip reports and give people a sensation of what it was like. Otherwise you're just encouraging kids to do really stupid fucking shit, which may kill the next kid. Does that make you feel Tao?

I think what you have done, if possible, is not smart or cool at all. But nonetheless, I do wish you good luck on healing yourself, body and mind. I hope you don't decide to "binge" ever again.
