Need help - Job Interview - upd8, got the job

I have a job interview today at 3:00. I haven't had an interview in, well, a long long time. I'm surprised I even have one for this job, since I'm horribly overqualified for it.

A friend said an easy way to sail through it is to act like you don't really need the job, but not to be pompous/arrogant (obviously). I could use this job, but I don't NEED it. I would be helping this company if they employed me.

Any things to keep in mind? I'm going in prim and proper, and just plan on being confident. I've gotten curveballs in interviews in the past that made me do a double take, so I figure if I stay solid I'll be alright.

Any and all advice appreciated, but for now, off to my other job.

Sometimes you can tell the type of answer they are looking for, so if you get one of those questions, just tell them exactly what they want to hear. Butter yourself up, and have a smile on your face.

Go in there knowing what you want and make sure you let them know. If it's only a part time thing let them know that. Don't make it seem like this will be your new career or anything.

Don't overprepare, you'll sound robotic or fake.  Best advice is just "be yourself," because the recruiter will know if you're not.

Unless it's a super-competitive position, all you have to do is sell yourself.  If you are capable of doing the job, and can convince the recruiter that you'd be a benefit to the company, you're in.

I couldn't relax so I smoked a bowl, interview was ten minutes long, just got a phone call to come down and fill out paperwork.

I guess the overqualification for the job and the experience helped.

Being stoned did wonders for my last interview. I was chill and easy going the entire time. Not really nervous at all.

But I didn't get the job.

I could never go to an interview stoned, I wouldn't even have the courage to leave my house. I am one of those people that gets super paranoid. Well, then again that's if I am really stoned.......
