I got home from this job i was working at, laying bricks and I had two messages on my machine..
First one was from a job interview I had a couple day's ago, I've got to fone the guy today, It sounds good! (Bellman of a fly hotel)
And they second one, is for a banquets job in a hotel, different hotel..
So if all goes well I will have three jobs, and be able to quit the brick laying one!!
but now i must go eat, Have a good day people

Yay. Getting a non-manual labor job at a hotel is always cool. Plus nice tips and cute chickies.

That's awesome....those jobs will be fun. My old bf did the bellman thang at a hotel. I think he pulled in pretty good cash in tips too. Good luck!

Thanks!! I have tons of hotel experience, so I feel pretty good about it all...
I think I'm wearing jeans blue collar shirt, with a brown sweater over top.. That's 2-legit for a job interview hey?

I enjoy working. Money's good, meeting people is good, doing something productive is good, learning new skills is good, building my resume is good.
I get excited over good things.

Okay, I hate work and get depressed thinking about laboring jobs. The hotel one would be cool, I don't mind working with the public but I dislike most jobs I've held. I don't have one now and don't plan on getting one for some time.

I live away from my parents, and my parents don't sponsor me, so a job is a must if I want to pay rent and buy food.. If I had it my way I'd sit around and paint all day But that doesnt pay the bills yet

I'm completely on my own, my dad is a supervisor in a meat packing plant and my mom is a secertary for a lawyer. They do not make much and can't support my ass, I worked hard for 3 years to pay off all my debt and I payed that off around tax time. I've been pinching every penny since then, I saved enough to live free for awhile and I ended my job yesterday. Been waiting along time for this.

It's weird, in the UK the hotel job would probably pay around the equivilant of US$8 per hour, wheras bricklaying would get you US$1.80 per brick, so would pay lots more. I guess things are different in Canada.

It would be the same in the US. Brick layers make good money, it would pay alot more than a hotel job unless it's some high class joint.

well it's not a 'bricklaying' job per se, we do brickwork, concrete work... plus the boss is gay, so this is much better....
