Question for Azure Pickers
    #443534 -

Hello!!!
I am excited to announce my first patch of Azurescens, found in dune grass on the side of the road North of Seaside. This was my fourth hunt on the coast; I was losing faith until yesterday. 13 in all, of various ages and size.

I have a question for those of you experienced with Azure hunting. Are there patches in the dune grass lining the beach? There is a LOT of dune grass and it is very thick. I have searched in it many times, wondering if I was wasting my time. Should I concentrate in other areas, like dune grass on the side of the road? Or are there really Azurescens in the miles of dune grass lining the beach? Let me know!!!

dude....uhm, you were probably surrounded by them when you found yer 13...i just parked randomly two different times, not too far from seaside, and walked down the levee until i found one... that one was a mother patch, brother. go back to your spot, get down (get yer knees wet) and sift, man, i mean separate the grass clumps. they seem to grow in straight lines. we found about 2000 of them...in 3 hours....peace

Thanks Twain!
I really sifted through the grass, and noticed white mycelium all over the dead dune grass. Perhaps there will be many more when I go back on Tuesday. Also, you don't happen to drive a red Isuzu pick-up do you? If so, I'm out pickin' everytime you go!
