I was wondering what a real bottle of absinthe looks like, and what country it originates from? Pictures would be great. As I see alot of "fake" absinthe bottles for sale all over the place.

My sister is sending me half the absinthe in free world in the next two weeks from Czech Land, Amster Land, and Swiss Land.

does commercially available stuff like that really make you trip or is it just good alchohol?

Absinthe is one of the few things I've never tried and I have often considered ordering a bottle, but the price seems high and I'd like to know if its worth it.

not sure. its got a pile of german writing on the back. i do know its 66% and that face is a nice pewter thing. i love the bottle almost as much as the booze

different countries have different regulations on how much wormwood is allowed in the sauce. I think the swiss and the czechs have the most leniant (not sure though).

I've never "tripped" off of the stuff but I find the experience a completely differnt animal then the common drunken stupor.

I have a bottle of Czech Absinthe and it's like fire liqourish. It'll get ya drunk and all but trippin? Is there a secret to drinkin it. I mean I can drink whiskey, tequilla, and whatever like nothin but that's a whole new beast. It's FIRE!

On the video for Nine Inch Nails "The Perfect Drug" it has Trent Reznor drinking absinthe. Also in From Hell Johnny Depp drinks it.
