If more parents tried Ritalin/Adderall for themselves, they wouldn't give it to their kids.

I think doctors should make parents take a dose of their kids Adderall/Ritalin and let them see how powerful it is. THEN let them decide if they want to put their 7 year old on it.

What about if their parents were tweakers?

My thoughts exactly. The parents probably wouldnt want to put their 7 year old on it but they would be at another doctors office complaining of every damn symptom of ADD they can find on the net.

i remember reading an article a few months back on how Ritalin/Adderall is bad for creativity. They made references to allot of great artists and musicians and they were saying that if they were alive in our time they would have been placed on Ritalin/Adderall for there ADHD and then they would have never created what they did. also they talked about allot of inventors that had ADHD. i looked for the article but i cant find it but it would be a good read if someone can pull it up. when i was reading it it made me think of the movie Equilibrium.

Haha you mean the book, "The Savage Nation"? Michael Savage wrote a section in his book that talked about exactly that, a HILLARIOUS book by the way. I would love to take adderal every day with a prescription, not only does it make me more focused, but it makes me more sociable, and generally more amusing around other people. Now I think had I taken it at 7, I would have gone insane.

My favourite is adderall/ritalin magazine ads.
"Proven to increase alertness!" "Increased sociability and communication!"
It's also the same thing as speed!
Ampetamines(ADD meds) and Methamphetamines only have one thing that separates them, the methyl group. The methyl group isnt harmful in itself, it just makes the substance absorb faster, so when a tweaker gets spun, the shit kicks in faster, whereas adderall lasts for 12 hours.
Kinda ironic how if a substance will make you work faster, think more structural and logical the government will legalize it despite its harmful side effects whilst keeping some fucking plant and fungus illegal.

The nest has to keep working in some way or another, and if there's a few pills that can help the productivity of the worker ants, why not?
As if marijuana and mushrooms do anything but hinder the survival of the hive.

I was on ritalin from 1st grade to 7th grade. Parents tried Adderall in my first year of highschool. heh. Both got me sick. I had good grades on ritalin but my body was so crazy... the moods, anxiety, chemicals floating around in my brain. Not natural.
