Stalled Straw+Poo

Hey,
I have spawned 4, 1/2 pint PF cakes to two 1ft x 1 ft x 8 in boxes. On the 2nd day, I noticed myc growth. At that point in time i needed to conceal them and put them outside for 2 days, at which point i brought them back in and haven't noticed any growth from that point on.
I am really worried that the poo might have fermented but i still see a lot of humidity on the plastic layer, so i don't think that that is the case.

However i did poke at it today with a knife to see if there was myc growth at different levels, either shit or straw and noticed that there was spawning on the straw, but little.

So my main question is, did it ferment? or is it just taking a really long time due to excess moisture?

Depending on the outside temperatures, you may have killed the mycelium. Temperatures can easily be more than 8 degrees above ambient. I don't think fermentation would be an issue, but it is a possibility.

The thing was that I'm pretty sure that it got to about 90 during those two days it was outside. However they were placed inside a container inside a storage room outside. Which when i place the PF cakes there for the same reason 2 weex earlier, shocked and they started sprouting early. So i figured it must have been cooler in the storage room than the outside ambient, due to the shocking fact.
But then again i don't know for sure, but ty for bringing that too my attention.
Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
