I really don't think you have to worry, about deodorant, as far as the toothpaste...?

in large doses id assume so.. i really doubt that there would be a large enough portion in toothpaste to harm you... or it wouldnt be there. durr.

i have a hippy shop near me. its funny to walk in there once in awhile. these people are HARDCORE hippy.

Actually aluminum in deodorant is really dangerous for you. Most "anti-perspirants" actually have aluminum in them that clogs your pores in your underarms to keep you from sweating, that's all they do. And that cloggage is very dangerous for your body over time.

once more if they are widely available commercial products i dont imagine its THAT bad for you. it probably isnt the best thing, but id rather have clogged pores then smell like shit all the time

Of course it won't kill you immediately. That doesn't mean it's safe.

id imagine infrequent use of stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, or whatever else you take would be more harmful to your body then frequent use of products that everyone use and are generally accepted as safe.

(not trying to be a dick to ya man, just debatin)

Tom's of Maine

As far as deodorant, they do sell "deodorant" which is not an "anti-persperant", so it will not have Al.

I would think that the fluoride and other additives they put in our drinking water should probably more of a concern as it poses much more of a threat to ones overall health when it is actually being swallowed.. I have used this stuff in the past.. I thought it was alright but lately I guess I've just been tollerating other brands with fluoride since I just spit the stuff out after brushing anyway..

I'm trying to consciously detoxify my system, which means abstaining from drugs as well...
I go through these phases.
I was just reading about harmful substances that are commonly found in household products, and I wanted to subtract these particular ones from my personal use.
