I had fluoride as a kid, in pill form.
As a result, I've never had a cavity.
My teeth are almost abnormally hard.
I'll admit, I didn't watch the video, I just read the blurb to the right.
OH NO IT'S RAT POISON!
Sensationalist bullshit.
As shakespeare said, the dose makes the poison. Oxygen will kill you eventually if you breathe it at 100%
And the argument about children's IQs is laughable. Of course, flouride is the ONLY possible factor that could affect IQ tests later on.

For several years she immersed herself in quantum physics and pored through hundreds of scientific papers to decoding what was often impenetrable work.
Pseudoscience really pisses me off.

Short video reinforcing what is being talked about in this thread. I've suspected it for a time now since I heard a guy on youtube talking about it a few months back. I've looked for fluoride-free varieties of toothpaste and out of the drugstore and the grocery store by my house I've only come across one - and it had a whitening agent in it.. so no dice.
The video goes on to say that many other industrialized countries like Japan, China and Switzerland have stopped, rejected or banned fluoridation in their water supply. Scary stuff considering that these countries are well aware of the very harmful effects of this neuro-toxin, yet it is literally shoved in the mouths of most Americans (and Canadians for that matter).

I've been using fluoride for many years. I mean...its kind of not avoidable, its kind of in your fucking toothpaste and water. But I really haven't noticed any of those ill effects. You can believe what you want. But in my opinion...I think its bullshit.

Frog in boiling water effect. That's kind of a silly attitude - I haven't noticed anything so there must not be a problem. If it was only making you .5% less healthy do you think you would notice? Would it be worth it to make the minor adjustments to avoid that?
It's "kind of" in your toothpaste and water? You can purchase non-flouride toothpaste and there are plenty of ways to get water w/o flouride. There are also plenty of reasons to drink non/filtered-tap water other than the flouride factor.

Why worry about a few particles of fluoride in water when as a "reefer addict" you are likely to be intentionally inhaling 100's of poisons?

Anyone care to post any peer-reviewed scientific literature? I don't necessarily consider youtube to be a scientific authority.

General Jack D. Ripper: Mandrake, do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk... ice cream. Ice cream, Mandrake, children's ice cream. Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Lord, Jack. General Jack D. Ripper: You know when fluoridation first began? Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: I... no, no. I don't, Jack. General Jack D. Ripper: Nineteen hundred and forty-six. Nineteen forty-six, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy, huh? It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works. Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Uh, Jack, Jack, listen, tell me, tell me, Jack. When did you first... become... well, develop this theory? General Jack D. Ripper: Well, I, uh... I... I... first became aware of it, Mandrake, during the physical act of love. Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Hmm. General Jack D. Ripper: Yes, a uh, a profound sense of fatigue... a feeling of emptiness followed. Luckily I... I was able to interpret these feelings correctly. Loss of essence. Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: Hmm. General Jack D. Ripper: I can assure you it has not recurred, Mandrake. Women uh... women sense my power and they seek the life essence. I, uh... I do not avoid women, Mandrake. Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: No. General Jack D. Ripper: But I... I do deny them my essence.
