The experiment with dunking and light using koh samui

Im sure some of you remember the other day when i was wondering if dunking in light would be beneficial, well 2 nights ago it just so happened that tommy had 9 cakes that needed to be dunked. So he did a little experiment. Remember that this is using Koh Samui and other strains may vary.
Cakes # 1,2,3 were dunked in a 3% solution of H2O2 to water. They were dunked for 12hrs in a 74 degree enviroment after leaving the incubation chamber where they colonized at 85 degrees (inner substrate temp of 1/2pint cake is 86 in my set-up). While dunking they were all exposed to a high blue spectrum flouro for the duration of thier dunk.
Cakes # 4,5,6 were also dunked the exact same way that 1,2,3 were with the difference of one variable. There was total darkness for the dunk.
Cakes # 7,8,9 were also dunked for 12 hours with no light. Except they were dunked in the fridge with no h2o2. (41 degrees F)
All cakes were then put into aluminum trays (3 per tray slightly spaced out), a little dry sterile verm was poured on top of them and they were misted with water til the verm was near saturation (probably a 1/8inch verm layer). The conditions inside the FC are constant 74degrees, with a constant 98% rH. Air exchange constant with fish tank bubbler running tube inside FC into a pint jar filled with a 10% h2o2 solution. There are 2 1/8 inch holes directly above the perlite layer filled with poly-fill for a co2 outlet. Then there is fanning 3 times per day for additional air exchange. It is on a 14hrs on 10 off flouro light cycle.
Cakes #1 and 3 started pinning within 12 hours of being introduced to the FC. Cake # 2 started pinning about 18 hours after being introduced to the FC. Cakes #5 and 6 started pinning 48 hours after being introduced to the FC. It has now been 52 hours since the cakes have been introdcued to the FC and cakes #4, 7, 8, and 9 are not yet pinning. Cakes #1, 2, and 3 have fruits that will be mature within 24-36 hours.
Ill update when the other 4 cakes initiate pinning.
Happy Trails!

Update!
afoaf said that at the 74 hour mark, cakes #4 and 8 have started pinning, and cake 1 has 2 fruits that will be ready for harvest tonight. Cakes 7 and 8 are still not pinning.

Where can I get a high blue spectrum light that would work? Did you put it out side of the tub? or is it under water light?

Wal-mart... tommy uses a 33watt 2ft flouro bulb that cost $10 for the bulb and fixture(comes together) and he mounts it 4ft above the terrariums.

Is your 3% h2o2 3% of a 6% h202 bottle? I never understood the idea of cold dunking, is it meant to reduce contams or cold shock? Since the lit heated dunk it proving the winner it would be worth trying it without the h2o2 next time.

I used 3% h202 97% water... The h2o2 is store bought (3% h2o2). Therefore making the total solution.... I believe .09% h202, not positive if i got the calculations right on that. Just 3% of the solution you buy.

Cold dunking is for contam purposes, its not beneficial for pinning at all.
It wasnt heated by the light... just exposed to the light, causing an additional pinning trigger that is usually not present during the dunk. I have experiemented with h2o2 and without, and it makes no difference. The fungus isnt really effected by it at all, it just keeps out contams.
