stalled cakes?

Hi, I've been growing from PF cakes on perlite and a couple of my cakes I harvested one giant mushroom on each one- the rest of the mushrooms on the cake were aborts. Once I cut off the big ones, I noticed no other new pins on the cake were coming up and none of the other "mid-sized" mushrooms were not getting any bigger. Could this be due to lack of hydration? The parts where I cut off the giant ones are blue and I know thats normal but some of the stalled mushies have turned a blue-ish green. What went wrong and how can I fix this so I can get more outta my flush? thanx.

Try injecting the cakes with water (not much), rehydrate perlite (water/h202), fan aqarium, put ice packets on sides to lower temps, and light for 2 hours. Then take 2 advil and call me in the moring.

P.S. Big shrooms aren't more potent. They taste bad and exhaust the cakes resources. 4 inch is plenty good me thinks.
