None of my punk rock friends ever had enough money to go see tool.  so in essence i never had a ride...hahah

i feel cheated

A plethora of music aspirations control my temptations of future revelations beyond "now". The percussion, and the heart beat of my love and devotion. The rhythm goes beyond, prying into the third eye, releasing the creativity held so far inside. The melodicies, through the out of tune pianos and broken classical guitars...there lies a beauty. A beauty as prevelent as the fire inside. To release these energies is pure ecstacy, to deveop these gifts is sacred. The vocality, so pure as can be, shying away from herself, lies within me. For the underlying serenitity, this is what I live for. I plea for harmony, and nothing more. Music equals love. Creation of love leads to the procreativity of the World, and it's spirals and puddles prevailing.

Brother Ali always puts on a good show. Sage Francis was really good as well.

Hmm...I think that the best show that I have seen was Pink Floyd in 1995. I have seen a ton of shows since, but that one stands out in my mind the most. It was really phenomenal! It was here, in Birmingham, at Legion Field. The Sound Tribe Sector 9 show, at Oddessey Fest, last year, was really smoking, too! That Floyd show was the best, though.

I was at that Floyd show at Legion Field, very cool!  I also saw the Stones there on the Steel Wheels tour and U2 on the Zoo TV tour which was awesome.

The best concert I've ever been to is, hands down, Nirvana, also in B'ham.

Oh, that's tough. I'd have to say it's a tie between Roger Waters, KMFDM in 1997 (not now...they suck now), and Pigface.

Wow!! I was also at every one of those shows!! The Stones were that same year and I paid a dude at on of the gates 10 bucks and he let me in! The u2 show, Public enemy and Big Audio Dynamite opened up for them, huh? Nirvana was a smoking show! The Breeders opened up at that show. Did you happen to catch The Butthole Surfers in 94? Or Faith No More and Helmet, in 93 or 94? It was in Jacksonville, Al. You're from Bama, too? Cool!!

The top ones for me would be The Distillers, NOFX, REM, The Cure (backstage), The Offspring and Mad Capsule Markets

Now I have become one with the universe, at my will I can command the gods of moon and sun to tear open the matter of the universe and reveal the light of eternity. We shall walk through the crack of time and space and abandon all hope of physical feelings and emotions. We shall be the drifters of time; the wanderers of space and the beings that even the gods shall fear. Our minds will exist, emerging with whatever we wish and controlling whatever we desire.
Fear and emptiness no longer exist. We now live in a world of ecstasy and pleasure, freedom and sublime. We have reached Nirvana.

Picking one favorite is too hard

Metallic and Godsmack was a fucking intense experience.

All the Ozzy Osborne or AC/DC concerts I saw were good. Angus Young has to do a line before each concert, he never stopped playing for any of his shows.

Also Marilyn Mansons, Anti Christ Superstar concert was highly entertaining. (Im in Arkansas so there were only 2-3 thousand people there)
His stage show was WILD. Ya never knew what he was going to do next. The audience was almost as entertaining as the show (never saw so many piercings in my life  )

For real! Tool is an obvious choice. Seen them twice, once at the Gorge in 97 (?) and once in ATL for Lateralus. Freakin' intense! But Robert Randolph last year in Athens, GA was really, really good. And yeah the Mars Volta at Bonnaroo. Saw Ween play for like 3 hours once. Every Ben Harper show is a spiritual epiphany to me. And The Smashing Pumpkins rocked, more so with Jimmy Chamberlin.
Shit, I love live  music. Going to see Luciano tonight.

Oh, don't make fun of me. My fav concert was backstreet boys in '99! HAHA. I was 12 and a teen bopper... I was first row and my fav sang to me. Yeah, shut up.

As for other concerts, I've been to so many I barely remember!! My mom said Korn was awesome in concert...
