i hope i can get some cash together to see some shows.

Monotonix (i hope)
Lights (in 3 weeks)
Murder by Death
Xiu Xiu (in 2 weeks)
Titus Andronicus (2 weeks)
The Album Leaf (i think this is a must see show)
Stars (maybe)

im sure there will be more. i dont do festivals. these shows are all going to be <100 people. Stars will probably only be like 20-30. and at most theyll cost $20.

the places i go to dont care if i bring beer in either.

Here in utah we have a local festival down in the moab desert. Awesome musicians from around the state (some bigger acts from elsewhere) play for 4 days in the red rocks. Ive been to every festival for the past 7 years or so since it started. The best thing about it...is its all people I know. A big family of musicians. From the people who started it, to the people that come out every year, to the bands that help make it what it is. Me and the girlfriend look forward to it every year.

SummerCamp is the Festival I'm looking forward to the most.

And 3 nights of Sound Tribe in Chicago are the concerts I'm looking forward to the most.

I've allready got 3 of the 4 tickets I need for their 3-night Chicago run.

They still haven't announced the venue or released the tickets for the Sunday night accoustic show.

I'll be popping my festival cherry at this in a couple of weeks, which works out good because I've seen a couple of the local bands that will be there. Going stag but I'm expecting to have a blast.
