Bonnaroo Rumors

Eric Clapton has announced that he will play one show in America this year and it will be a sort of comeback show. I keep hearing Cream at Bonnaroo now at first I laughed it off but now I am hearing reliable people tell me. Anyone hear know anyone inside superfly that can get the scoop or hear anything similar?

I've heard Trey Anastasio solo band and Les Claypools FFFB will also be there, this is a little easier to believe.

I've heard the Trey and Phish rumors. Haven't heard anything about Clapton though. Have you got your tix? We should all hook up and dose down there! I'll be meeting up with some OG friends, so why not bring some Shroomery heads as well!

I heard all those rumors. I doubt Cream would reunite at Roo because its not really their scene. But it would be awesome as hell.

Phish will not be there. This is fact.

I do have tickets and I think some of us are planning to meet up.

That Cream rumor is ridiculous but with the Allmans and the Dead they'd fit in a little better, cream does have a pretty big influence on this scene it would be interesting for sure, I just don't think it sounds feasible.

peter aplebaum (trey's flute player) said that they TAB tour would wind up at a jazzfest in VT which is june 7-8 i think.... but who knows...

cream would be so fucking awesome...

The Flaming Lips have been added to the line up? Im there.. For the past few years I've wanted to see The Flaming Lips perform live, I heard they do "headphone concerts". Basically the concert is held and the crowd is given headphones to listen to the music through (no idea how this works but its better explained at www.flaminglips.com). Along with this I guess there are some pretty wild visuals on screen. They also have one cd called Zaireeka which is four cd's and is meant to be played on four different stereos at the same time. I guess at the concerts they pick a few members from the crowd each show and allow them to control the volume of some of the instruments and distortion effects output during the concert. So basically its a different concert every time.

I think Bonnaroo is much to big for them to be able to do this, but who knows. I hope to purchase tickets soon
