Never seen Tool live, and with that said...
The Mars Volta, Bonnaroo...
-------------------- A plethora of music aspirations control my temptations of future revelations beyond "now". The percussion, and the heart beat of my love and devotion. The rhythm goes beyond, prying into the third eye, releasing the creativity held so far inside. The melodicies, through the out of tune pianos and broken classical guitars...there lies a beauty. A beauty as prevelent as the fire inside. To release these energies is pure ecstacy, to deveop these gifts is sacred. The vocality, so pure as can be, shying away from herself, lies within me. For the underlying serenitity, this is what I live for. I plea for harmony, and nothing more. Music equals love. Creation of love leads to the procreativity of the World, and it's spirals and puddles prevailing.

I've just recently thrown myself into the live music seen, so I haven't seen all that much.
With that said I saw Blonde Redhead 2 weeks ago and it was hella_tight, when they played pink love it felt like my Brain and everyone else's there was melting into one giant puddle

Grateful Dead.
It was their 50th time playing at Philly's spectrum, my first concert ever, and my first time tripping.
Was one of the best nights of my life.
Would kill to get that show on tape

I also saw Rat Dog last year. That was very spiritual indeed.
Then again, it coulda been the acid,

the dead at the gorge... 9-22-04 (or 21)... kinda sucked cause i had to work the next day and drive 6 hours to get there.... but the whole vibe at the gorge is sweet... i think it was my first time trippin at a concert.... they played a very good set, and the atomosphere, and all the love in the air made it special... it was the first dead show after understanding the dead... i had been to about 10 phil shows befor then, but not fully understanding the dead... and it was awesome seeing that many family members coming out of the woodwork to have a good time... it was just so awesome...
also, this one testament concert i saw at the whiskey in holywood was pretty sweet... as a concert concert....

I saw pinback earlier this summer and it was pretty sweet. It was my first real concert (I don't count the time I got forced to see ludacris, which was comical if nothing else) I've been to a couple bob marley festivals, but didn't catch much of the music.

Hmm...I think that the best show that I have seen was Pink Floyd in 1995. I have seen a ton of shows since, but that one stands out in my mind the most. It was really phenomenal! It was here, in Birmingham, at Legion Field. The Sound Tribe Sector 9 show, at Oddessey Fest, last year, was really smoking, too! That Floyd show was the best, though.

i was tryin to single out the one best show, it is very hard.
every musician that i have seen life has impacted me in some way or another.
i was a little displeased with propagandhi live in ybor though. sound sucked, and i know it wasnt the venue,
yeah sound tribe sector nine in charlotte NC last yr was fuckin intense too. so intense that we had to leave the indoor scene, and venture out into the city, getting lost in the madness of the car, until some random guy walked up to us after the show, and asked if we could give him a ride home. we told him that we had been puddled with acid and if he wanted a ride, then he was going to have to drive. in essence he drove my car to his house, and adamist and i "slept" in the front yard on a blanket, and this nice virgo guy (earth signs always keepin it real, and practical) left his house, his bathroom (upstairs) and his bong open to us. we left him a note and some hemp on the fridge in the morning and preceeded to drive to the nearest hotel...
still feeling the effects from the acid, we were doin 40 on the interstate to the nexxt exit, lol.
now THAT was madness!

Herbie Hancock at Tipitina's in New Orleans in the mid 90's. I was just blown away by this man's awesome talent!

That sucks to hear about your Propaghandi experience. I saw them back in like 94 or 95 and it was really great! They played a great West Bank(Gaza Strip) and everyone started pogoing and it felt like the floor to this club(Tuxedo Junction)was going to fall through to the first floor. I later found out that those floors are steel inforced, but it was scary! I didn't like their newer stuff, thugh. How to Clean Everything was fire, though.

I don't mean to be negative, but coventry was kind of a let down. Really tiring... but I made the most of it!
Big Cypress was very special...
But my favorite show would have to be ween at Ziggy's in... what, 2000, maybe? Met my sister and ate some very good sugar cubes, chauffered by a taxi, talked with Claude Coleman afterwards... Lot's of fun. And Chapel Hill is nice.
