Gov't sterilizing mail

Hey, I was watching the news last night and the Postmaster general says he plans to install 1 million dollar a pop ultraviolet lighting into our postal facilities. The machines that exist are currently being moved all over the US
to postal facilities across the board. These lights are over 1000 time more powerful than an x-ray and kill any bacteria
and spores they can find. Does this mean that shroom spores can be sterilized before they reach us? Seriously, I don't want anyone to panic, but from what I gather about congress moving forward with their various anti-terror bills, Most US mail is on it's way to being irradiated before delivery...

Anyway, anyone has anything to add or more information on this matter, it would be great to hear.

I for one ordered spores a week ago, and it would break my heart if they go thru a machine that kills them and not only wastes my time, but my resources as well.

Should I be worried? I'm in Ca. but who knows???

Yeah, they kill contams, and not the spores. You can mail contaminated jars to yourself, and have them come back healthy.

Correct. UV rays kill bacteria and its spores, but Shroom spores are not readily affected by them.

I was always told to keep spore syringes in a dark place if uv light doesnt effect them then why make sure they are in a dark place
