green mold.

there is green mold on one of my mongoose's casings, what is the best way to deal with it? also, best way to prevent it.. or just toss him a link so he can read for himself if anyone has one (this time he just cut out the section with the contamination) - will misting with a h2o/h202 solution help at all?
shrooms were cased using the shroom wizards grow guide.
(top layer is 100% soil - will most likely use verm next time)

The only way I have found to deal with the green meanie is to let the casing slowly dry until the green is gone and then slowly rehydrate by misting. Green trich. produces HUGE amounts of an enzyme called catalyse. This enzyme converts H2O2 into H2O and O2 and the green thrives on the oxygenated moisture.
