Yeah Im into horror movies they are my favorite type of movie to watch. I get really into them especially ones that really fuck with your psyche. The late 70s - 80s horror flicks are definately at the top of my list. Early 90s put out some good ones too. The Candyman is one of my favorites.

The original Candyman was cool.... he was the first motherfucker to hack you up with a hook. Long before that "I know what you did...." bullshit.

I'm a complete sucker for slasher flicks... Jason, Freddy, Michael Myers.... all my heroes. I like the more psychological flicks too, but something about teens getting murdered while camping or babysitting really turns my crank.

Pffft... I tried out for the band the "Goblins" to work on the soundtrack, but Dario Argento already had too many synth musicians. :sad:

The slasher films were damn good without a doubt. Freddy and Mike Meyers were my 2 favs. They are the bad ass slasher motherfuckers that would come kill you without one word or flinch. Freddy is good too but in a different sense, he kind of has this comedic vibe about him.

p.s. I didn't really try out for the Goblins.  That movie was made like 6 years before I was born.  All those witches are probably in their late fifties by now. :frown:

You see, that's what I'm sayin.... Jason is my favorite, cause he'll just straight hack you to pieces, and never say a word to you. Freddy'll kill you, sure enough, but then he's gotta go and ruin a good death with a corny one liner. Mike Myers is good, but when it comes to body count, Jason pwns all.

I cant debate that at all. Jason definately has the top body count. Thats for damn sure. That Freddy vs Jason bullshit was just straight lame though. They should have never made that movie. I watched it once and have since refused to watch it again. It was nothing like the originals and in a bad sense. Totally fucked with both of their images.

Cant leave out that crazy fuckin doll Charles Lee Ray. :wink: He will straight fuck you up too. The newer Chucky movies are just lame too though, straight comedys instead of horror.

I actually enjoyed the Freddy vs. Jason movie. Don't ask me why... it lampooned them both, and was an all-around piece of shit. Maybe it's because the Jason series had already reached rock bottom with 'Jason X', maybe it's because the first time I saw it I had taken like 4 tabs of acid. Either way, I can't wait for a campy ass, wholly unoriginal 'Jason vs. Freddy II'.

Chucky's kind of a punk, but his movies are good. I even enjoy the new ones... for a different reason (they are straight up comedy), but I do like them.

Have you seen House of 1000 corpses? That was a pretty good movie. Written and directed by Rob Zombie. There was some gorey shit in that movie. :thumbup:

Even though it was a bite off of many movies that predate it, yes, I liked Rob Zombie's movie. Detestable bad guys, gratuitous gore. And the prolonged scene where the lone cop gets shot in the forehead.... outstanding work. I look forward to seeing his new piece, "The Devil's Rejects".
