A Remote system is trying to access your computer
    #4333539 - 06/24/05 08:28 PM (12 years, 6 days ago)

I have norton systemworks and norton internet security. I constant get a pop up from norton saying that A remote system is trying to access your computer. It's the most annoying shit ever. Is there anyway for me to make my computer less vulnerable to this shit? When the pop up comes every 3 seconds it gets to be a bit much.

Which version of windows do you have?

Cold boot, then post which processes you have running... or just punch all the names in google and see what it is.

If ya post them here I'll try helping. Chances are it's some junk trying to update, spyware, or a mail program like outlook express trying to fetch new mail. It's definitely annoying. Try working in tech support with a dumb as fuck customer telling you that her 'nortis' is popping up every 5 seconds, then reading the same thing over and over.

:whatever:

I have all the programs configured within the firewall. When the fuckers try to access my computer, I see their IP and stuff. It's most likely someone trying to hack into my box, or someone pinging the fuck outta my machine.
