7:30 a.m Pan something all in my St.Augustine lawn. I picked one last night and did a spore print which is jet black. Could someone please lead me to the link or post that has the photos and comparisons of these shrooms. I suck at the descriptions, but I've found the comparison of spore prints that Mushroom John made and my spore prints are definitely jet black. Are thay active? I am searching now for the thread, but if someone could help -- would be greatly appreciated. I'm definitely going out to look for cubes this am-- wish me luck. thanks

A description is not that hard to do, and were pretty much lost without it. All we know is that it prints black and grows in SW Florida on lawns. That could be HUNDREDS of things.
The best thing to do for pics is to do an image search on Google, search the Shroomery (the main site, not just the forums), or go to mj's website:

DONT use pics from the internet to describe your specimens!

happy hunting on the cubes dude. florida is infested with them. except for those damn comunists in broward spraying there fields with pesticides and salts! but they cant stop them ALL from growing , all they can do is make it so less grow in my area.
i wudnt eat a lawn shroom man just find some goodies on the cowfield. just my two cents

Well, it all depends on where he works at.
I personally think it's a cool picture. The reefer doesn't look like anything special though.
Let's all stop bitching and move on. It's not like anyone in this forum has never seen any of those three things in their life. It's not a big deal.
Lastly, If you have Firefox (which you should because IE is too vunerable) you can block the images from coming up.
