Remember my friend Mr. Boon.
Well here he is again helping me while taking a break form his Coconut husking, tobacco manufacturing and cattle tending daily life. AS soon as he sees me arrive, he so tops work and takes a break to help me in the search for hed kee kwai. He knows where they are coming up.
Every coconut tree in his grove has piles of manure al round the trees base. Other workers there also bagg the dried powdered and others let the manure grow grasses and weeds.
Here are four images, one with Mr. Boon Boon and Some of God's Chilldren, chillin. Will take another photos in an hour or so and then come int he morning of the 116th to pick them. Thta is unless the7y have grow to opening in the last three hours or so.
From the same grove:
Boon Boon then took me over to a stack of coconuts and apparently they were piled along a tree with buffalo shit spread out and a few turds. These Cubensis were actiually attaching their caps to the outer skin of the coconuts and had become one with the nuts. You can see the edges of both shrooms where they are growing onto the coconut shells.
And have a shroomy day
Went back 4 hours later. found fouir more like the above just coming up in a different spot. Here is a shot of the above images four hours later and more tomorrow.

June 16, 2005.
These three iamges were taken 13 hours after the four hours later image.
see how the children have grown.
And next to my collection plate of cubes in a five minute picking period
And I found this one inch shroom yesterday sneaking a peak at me throught the mimosa and grass. Left it for today but could not find it in the manure thickets around the palm trees.

The four photos posted here below are the day later images of the Penis Envy looking mushroom posted directly above this post.
Unfortunately I picked it before the cap opend but by the time I got to my bungalow the cap had opened so hopefully It will sporulate.
These are from Mr. Boob Boon's coconut Grove.

And that is it for now. Ten minute rain yesterday and still no growth. The buffalo Arena is nothing more now than tons of new shit and that takes four to six weeks. Hopfehfully when I return in Sept. Right now if it rains the arena may have scattered cubes. Boon Boon';s farm will also have scattered cubes if we get a good heavy rain. I leave next week for Bangkok and Cambodia so I may actually miss all of the cubes.

I like the way the grass grows too. Seems like it grows at an accelerated rate, before it gets chomped. The way that pin is growing out of a slightly aged pie and the grass is comming up around it.

I sometimes spend ten or more minutes to cut away the gras so I can photograph the mushrooms.
