substrate jars and vendors?

I'm in a living situation where I can't sterilize my own substrate jars, lack of oven or big microwave. Does anyone know of a place that I can order prepacked and sterilized substrate? excluding Shroom Wizard, he doesnt put the layer of verm on the top. Or is anyone willing to make me some and I'll pay them, shroom wizard charges $25 for a 6 case of half pints, I can pay $30 plus shipping for that. anyways, vendors or any way I can get this would be a huge help, thanks

That would be of help to a lot of folks I think. There was a time when I lived in a studio apartment, and had no oven whatsoever(pretty common in the city). Hotplates just don't cut it. KUDOS to you!

We offer pre-sterilized rye grain in filter patch bags. At no where near the cost of 25 dollars for 6 jars plus shipping.
Our bags are the equivilent to 1 pint of grain per bag.

For beginners I would suggest sticking with jars. Bags have a tendency for moisture to build up and pool. Also, shroomwizard prices $25 for 6 and $40 for 12 INCLUDES shipping. However, I would definitley check out Capt. Max first.

What you could do is buy a hot plate from ebay for 50 bucks and a P.C. from ebay for probably around 80 for a nice one or like 30 for a not so nice one and use those ...
