Removal

Quick question regarding removal of shrooms from the cakes.
1) What is the best tool used to remove from the cake?
2) Where on the cake should you remove it from (flush to the cake or fractionally off?)?

1. Your hands or a sterilized knife. The problem with knifes and other tools is that you often leave little bits, stumps, of fruit bodies and they rot. Twist and pull seems to work. Be gentle and try not to squish the shrooms at all.
2. Excuse me, I dont understand. Hrrmz, remove it from the base of the shroom. Remove the whole flush at once when the majority of pins are mature. It is OK to pick a few shrooms when they abort but try and pick the majority of them at the same time.
