Can't delete shroomery ratings and repost?

I tried to delete a shroomery rating I gave a person to re-write it and now it says "You can only post 1 comment to general and one to trade" or something similar......it wont let me post another shroomery rating for the person even though I deleted the old one. This must be new? I used to be able to delete them and remake them before...

its still a problem and now I cant even edit ratings. it just keeps saying you can post 1 for trade and one for general....I click submit and it still says that. I try deleting a rating and remaking it and I cant....it stays deleted and I cant remake a new rating it just keeps saying "you can post 1 for trade and 1 for general"

cant even make a trade rating for the person it wont allow that either

What person are you trying to rate? Are you trying to give them a general or trade rating?

This problem is only when I try to rate people I have already given ratings to.

Heres what Ive gathered so far.

1-I CAN rate anyone who I have never rated before....either trade or general.

2-If I try to edit the rating or the comment I click submit and it tells me this error...

NOTE: You are able to leave TWO ratings. One trade, and one general.

3-I CAN delete the rating. But If I delete it I cannot make a new rating for that person ever again in either general or trade.

4-Ive gone back and tried a day later and I still cannot re-rate anyone Ive already rated.


So basically right now Ive got a bunch of people I meant to re-rate but I cant because it gives me this error for all the problems above 1-4.

That statement is wrong too....I cant leave two ratings at all for the same person.....it gives me that message after only either 1 trade or 1 general rating.....I cant give both a trade and a general rating to one person.

This all started a month or 2 ago when I tried to delete the rating I left a person to replace it with a totally new rating (only general rating) and it wouldnt let me.

Hey Irish, not sure, but I'll ask the tech admins to respond to see if this is a unique problem. I somehow think its a bigger problem with the rating system as you are not the only one to report issues with it.

I can not replicate this behavior.

Are you sure there isn't already a rating of the same kind left for the person you are trying to rate?

Please give us a specific example(with username and rating type).

Sure I would love to rate Jenny after I deleted the original rating I made a long time ago, it wont let me make another one. Log into my account if you want and try to rate her, heres the link to rate her.

It just says that same error message....You can only give 1 general and 1 trade rating it says.

Strangely one of the other people I couldn't rate before suddenly accepted the rating this time after weeks of rejecting it and giving that error message. I was trying to rate Loki a 1 for ever but it wouldnt let me......but I tried again today and it worked. So something is bugged.

I cant give jenny a trade rating either try that....strange eh? It only happens for people I rated but then deleted the rating and try to remake it.

I went through my list of people Ive rated as well as Jennys list of ratings from people and I dont show up at all on them......yet it says Ive already rated her. It doesnt just happen with Jenny, it happens to me for other people like Zahbuddha (before he got deleted) and others who I have deleted my rating to remake it and ended up getting that message.

Crap can you make one more general rating? I deleted it again and tried to remake but its givin the error again lol. This time Ill edit it rather than deleting it, if you can make it again for me. Thanks and sorry....not sure why its doing this for me.

You know what....I think the comment was just too long and thats why it wouldn't post. You should make an error message for when that happens, saying its too long of a comment.

I shortened it and tried again and it worked fine....was just slightly too long.
