Im reading Dune right now. Its good, its kinda like a science fiction fantasy book.

On the subject of the Wheel of Time series, I stopped on the 9th book, and that was a long ass time ago, so I'd probably have to re-read the entire series now. :tongue2:

Ah well.. the first 3 were the best anyways, from what I recollect.

I CANNOT believe nobody has suggested George R.R. Martins "A Game of Thrones."

Probably the best book I've ever read. Then again, I'm very picky when it comes to fantasy.

GIVE IT A TRY. You won't regret it.

I've read a couple of books from the wheel of time series but after book 4 or 5 it gets very annoying. He starts to slow down and nothing much happens, he spends 20 pages to tell you one little thing...

True... he takes Tolkien's obsession with detail and spreads it out in 10+ books.
