First Aid for wet mycelium/casing
    #418662 - 10/08/01 06:59 PM (23 years, 3 months ago)

I finally got some casings growing beautifully. My past experiments were green disasters,
so I was really thrilled to get it down using gro brick coco (instead of 50/50+).
Well I screwed up, long story short... I had water spill on top of my lovely mycelium.
I used alittle tissue to blot off what I could gently.
It looks all crystally. It's been 2 days now.Should I just do nothing, wait it out and
assume more mycelial growth will overtake the casing? or.. should I leave that mycelium
alone? scrape it off and recase? or just recase and wait?

You will be fine, just give it some light and fresh air and keep in the mid 70's. Pins will come with patience.
