a simple unanswered question about casing

directly from the PF casing method.

"Create Casing Mixture: mix 1/2 peat moss, 1/2 vermiculite, and a small amount of calcium (oyster shell) and add water until moist, not wet.
sterilize casing mixture (bake in foil covered pan in oven, microwave in plastic, etc)"

you know what sucks? none of these teks tell you WHAT temperature to bake the casing AT. they just say BAKE IT. i've done cakes, but i want to do casings now. any help?

Bake the wet mixture at 400?F for 30 minutes.
Or microwave the wet mixture at HIGH for 10 minutes, stirring occasionaly.
