Question about Peruvian Torch Dosage

I've noticed that there is alot of inconsistency from trippers and vendors on dry torch dosage. I've heard that 25-30 grams is a nice medium dose, but I've read trip reports on 10-15, and one vendor is recommending 15-20. I have to say, 33 grams was pretty strong.

Is this disparity just different people's dose preferences, differences in Cacti, or have I been taking abnormally large doses? Somebody help me on this. I don't want to take 30 grams is 15 will melt the room and the entire neighborhood.

20 grams should suffice a medium sized person (130-150lbs).

most people i talk to prefer a higher dose of mescaline because of its mellow nature, and they are usually already accustomed to the often intense rides of mushrooms or lsd. :sun:

Are these gram amounts referring to dried cactus insence?

there is a lot, i mean A LOT of variation in the amount of alkaloids from cactus to cactus, this is where i would put the blame for the differances in dosage. one cactus you might need 20 grams to get going, while the next one you would need twice that much.
