Peruvian Torch available at home depot?
    #2020684 - 10/18/03 04:11 PM (13 years, 1 month ago)

or other like stores? if they do have these cacti then i don't think they label them as san pedro or peruvian torch and they probably keep them out of view in the "under the counter" sense. any ideas people? also, how much would they cost?

I've never seen a Trichocereus Peruvianus at homedepot/lowes/et al ... but I have seen san pedro, both labelled and un labelled.. once i saw it Labelled as "Candle Cactus (Tricocereus Pachanoi)"

I bought it and it cost me 15 dollars, it was a foot and a half tall.

A San Pedro is gonna have mescaline in it no matter where you but it. I mean some types will be more potent, but ones from home depot will not be bred for low alkaloid content or anything rediculous like that.

You can ask them to special order you some at home depot and it will be no big deal for them to do so. Its a common landscaping cactus.

You will not find peruvian torch at stores most likely, as its not a common decorative cactus like san pedro.

nah, i didn't eat it... i left it outside for a week while i was in germany and it rained for a few days straight and rotted away good by the time i was home, i managed to save a pup though and now the pups are growing. This was a few years ago.

so would a 1.5 footer provide enough of a trip for 1 person?

yes with provisions.... mileage may vary..

1.5 is usually considered just a few inches past a normal reccomended length of Trichocereus species for a dose.

a few inches above? okay, so that should be fine if i get my hands on a 1.5 footer.
