Good luck getting your order. PJ's customer service absolutely sucks. I'm starting to wonder if they aren't just going to pull out of the buisness altogether. My order to them is 6 weeks late...so late in fact I declared the money order I sent to them lost/stolen because they never once answered my inquiries. Try Green Earth Ethnobotanicals http://www.greenearth-ethnobotanicals.com/seeds.htm I don't believe they sell cuttings but they do sell San Pedro and Peruvian seeds and their customer service is x20 better. See my post in this forum "Green Earth Ethnobotanicals".

It's definetly an active Trichocereus, maybe a short-spined peruvianus -- pachanois tend not to have the V-notches (sometimes they have a more or less horizontal slit above the areole) or the blueish frosting.

Awesome find.

Well the pins are a little different on a peruvianus than on a Pachanoi.
The onces I have seen were def not looking like you displayed.

That top pic with the specimen circled ain't ribbed too deep to be a pedro. Best I can tell from that pic, it's a friggen pedro.

Looks like a Pedro to me too. The spines on a Pedro are alot smaller than the ones on the torch. Why mail order your cactus? Try Wal Mart or Home Depot garden centers. In Arizona where I live a 15-20 incher will go for about 8 bucks at either of these places.

Looks like San Pedro to me.

If it's San Pedro that's not a bad thing!

Me and the Butterfly, 12-17 hour trip.
