.....they look like a joke to me:
Mushroom farm growing kit
This is a complete kit all you need is your favorite spores and you are ready to go!!
Easy Results!!
The other guys promise great results but this one works.
Easily Grow mushrooms in 4-6 weeks and have up to 1 pound of fresh mushrooms in 8-10 weeks and do it again and again and again..
Thru trial and error since 1991 I have been trying to find the easiest way to grow grain loving mushrooms. Well this is it. This presterilized kit comes everything you need to have mushrooms in as little as 4-6 weeks just add spores, rubbing alcohol, warmth and love.
Here is what you get:
1- Humidity growth chamber
Humidity gauge and liquid crystal thermometer
1- 4lb of magic Corn or Rye grain growing medium with self healing injector site (Grain loving species)
1- spray bottle of mushroom grow juice
1- bag of Casing mix
1- spray bottle of soil sterilizer (H2O2)
Since we seem to have had problems with people not receiving our emails do to spam blockers. These are the instructions so copy them, memorize them, whatever it takes.
Here is how it simple it is :
Inject your favorite spores into the Corn growing medium and keep in a warm, dark place. In as little as 21 days it will be ready for casing ( This is not regular corn but a special corn you can buy at any super market, fastest germination and growth I've ever seen .. )
Take a paper towel and wipe out the inside of the growth chamber with the Rubbing alcohol. Let dry
Next spread out spawn and cover with the prepared casing mix and place it back in a warm place,
Use the special soil sterilizer (2oz, 1/3 the bottle) with the casing mix to provide the moisture necessary for growth and now spray a couple of squirts of the mushroom grow juice (no more then 10 squirts) on casing. place the dome back on.
within 7 days the casing should be covered with mycelium. Place at a room temperature and 7 days later pinheads should be visible.
Maintain a 85-90% humidity and proper temp and you should have your favorite mushrooms in 4-6 weeks from the start.
Do not spray anything else after the initial spraying on the soil until after the first flush, then spray with soil sterilizer and grow juice every other day about 4 squirts of each. Up to 4 flushes
That's it !!
ONLY $49.95

highlow, no one is going to compile this list for you, all the information is on this site. Start with the pf tek for simple minds, don't take this as an insult, but if you need someone to compile a list of supplies for you, you won't do too well in this hobby.

my suggestion is to wait until that grow is finished or simply start another one, these kits are misleading at best, "21 days to shrooms", maybe it can happen but from the looks of the greenhouse propagator they picture, I'd say 8 days to full colonization with green mold

getting a few mushrooms from PF cakes is usualy only a little more complicated than a kit, the problem with most kits is that they are usualy incomplete, flawed in some way that actualy prevents your sucsess, most wont even stand behind their product.
one of the best terarrium setup ever is simply a large tu with a lid that has a plexiglass window, fill it with 3 inches of perlite and 2 inches of water

Ok here's what I'm thinking
Ordering the substrate jars from http://www.pfjars.com/ Ordering spores from sporesdirect.com Making the Alien Incubator: http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/7970 Make a Terrarium from a rubbermaid storage tote, with water and perlite(with saran wrap)
Anything else I need?

k....Id on't want to start a new thread on this...and I'm pretty sure you might be thiking the same thing...
1.)youre supposed keep an eye on temp, and humididty. If the humidity get's to low or the temp get's to high, what are some suggestion's on rectifying that? 2.)The timer...Is this to just regulate how often&long the submersed heater comes on?

good deal, Mike from PF jars is a great vendor, very good choice, spores direct is also a good vendor, dont be suprised if the syringe looks clear, it just means the spores are well dispersed in the solution.
instead of the alien incubator, look into the TiT (tub in tub). it's a similar design but instead of a large and small container, it's 2 large ones, every thing else is the same.

if the tem gets too high, reduce it, humidity too low, a hand spray bottle or a humidifier.

I've not found a need for a timer yet unless I was using a humidifier with a high output
