I Was Approved for SSI.

That's rite SSI I applied 3 or 4 months ago and already I'm approved. I will be getting $579.00 once a month for the rest of my life (If the US Gov still is around the rest of my life ). I prolly won't get the whole $579.00 every month cause I make a good deal of money doing web-design, but that's not a "steady" job. One month I may make $1,800 and the next 3 or 4 not make shit.

I will be getting my back pay within 10 to 14 days. If you don't know what back pay is well, when you apply for SSI from the day you applied till you are approved they have to pay you for those months. So 3 months would be 3x579.00 = $1,137

The first thing I'm doing is getting out of this small ass apartment and getting something with 2 bedrooms. So I can have a room for nothing but growing gourmet mushrooms and doing small scale experiments

Anyway just some good news, one less thing in my life I have to consistently stress about.

Lots of people scam the gov't. for SSI. (No offense if you're not scamming them Fungi.) My neighbor is trying to get on it right now, probably will.

Nothing wrong with him at all.

I have been diagnosed with,
296.32 Major Depression, 300.23 Social Phobia, 303.90 Alcohol Dependence, 296.62 Bipolar, 300.3 Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

None of those are REALLY bad except the depression and social phobia they both give each other power. I'm sure with the correct meds I will be able to get better but after 4 years of different meds I have a good feeling I'm never going to be "Cured"

I wonder if the Canadian Government has something similar. I'm sure I'd qualify easily.

Both depression and social phobia can be cured without meds. But for 700 bucks a month I think I'd convince myself to stay neurotic too.

It's hard to comment since I don't know you personally, but on the surface that seems really weak. Especially since you're competent enough to do web design, why should other people do work for you? Obsessive-compulisives are some of the most financially and academically successful people I know.

People like you suck the life out of society... I have no hestitation saying this money being wasted on yourself would have a better home buying a new computer each month for an elementry school... or new text books... maybe feeding hundreds of homeless people? ......

3x579.00 = $1,137? shouldn't that ring closer to the tune of 1800$?
