How important is humidity for colinization?

I have some spore inoculated jars of rye w/filter disk lids sitting in a cooler with a fish tank heater keeping things at 86 degrees. So here's my potential problem: Even with the lid closed I do not see any condensation in the cooler meaning little humidity. Also I do not see any signs of moisture in my jars even though they were preboiled and almost seemed to wet to my rookie eye after the P.C. Should I be woried about the humidity they are only at 86 can they dry out? Please help I am paranoid when it comes to my little girls wellbeing. Thank you!

Cover the lids with foil or worry about the moisture leaving the rye. You'll still get enough air exhange and no more humidty worries. Re: moisture in the jars - there shouldn't be much if any at this stage. if you preboiled then you should be fine. Better a little dry than a little wet IMO.

I beleive when using Micron Magick filters that nushroom recommends that you leave the jars in some type of closed container or other container with a bit of humidity to keep the jars from drying out, albeit not necessary. darkfly

Thanks for the input everybody! :) Im glad to hear my worries are unfounded. I saw the high humidity thing in p cubensis growth parameters and it got me overthinking things.
