dunking cakes
    #411271 -

my cakes have been in the terranium for about 6 days now.
i got my first pinheads yesterday... is it to late to dunk my cakes (put them in jars and cover with water for 12 hours) or should just wait until the first flush is over?

no need to dunk if its pinning, but if u really want to, its alright if the pins are very small, but it MAY cause them to abort

just let those grow and then dunk after u pick em, im not sure if the cakes are gonna have any more flushes or not, cause i fruited cakes and it took twice as long for em to pin. i like casing. for dunkin the cakes, i just make a h202 and water salution, like a cap of h202 in a 2pint jar, and let sit for 12 hours, or a day, i just boiled water, let it kool down, cause if its too hot, the jar might pop, so just slowly pour that water in there, put a cap of h202 in there, close, and have like 4 holes in the top, let it kool down, until it totaly cold, put cake in. i ussual put cakes in there right after i birth em and then case/fruit.
