Time it takes for shrooms to grow on dunked cakes?

I have 5 PF cakes that I ducked when where 100% colonized but they did not have any pins on them. I want to know how long it takes for them to grow shrooms???

Anywhere from 5 days to two weeks.

If you just birthed those cakes, then it wasn't necessary to dunk them, maybe cold shock if you don't see pins within 3 or 4 days. After pinning they pretty much just pop right up.

I think your wrong acidsmurf personally. Dunking before the first flush ensure max amount of water can be used and max amount of a nutrients providing by far the best flush from the cakes. I would rarely get a cake flush below 50 fresh grams on the first flush dunked right after birthing.

Its not necessary to dunk at any point, its just helpful, even before the first flush.
