Now that shroom season is fast approaching us (not long), I'd just like to hear from all the Victorians to remind us here on Shroomery that ur alive and kicking (and waiting).

I'm out in Melbourne's west and anxiously waiting for the rain to begin!

Fingers are crossed for a good season.

I look forward to seeing the regulars appear for another season's reporting!

South East Melbourne here, theres been a few rains so far, but when it rains, it seems to warm up for a few days after, and then the last few mornings when it has been cold(at least in my area), theres been no rain. So we just not getting the right combination of cold and rain :frown: . I guess all we can do is keep waiting.

Well I'm central and, apart from a couple of days, its been pretty dry thus far. Too early yet, me thinks.

Last season I didn't really start hitting the finds until about mid-May.

I've still got a quarter jar (dried and ground up) left over from last season. Might make an offering to the shroom gods and sprinkle some into the wind and do a little dance in hopes of having a fruitful and rainy season.

I can smell it in the air now dudes, shouldn't be too long!

My guess is two weeks, the tree out front of my house still has leaves on it and it's normally my best indicator as to when I should start looking.

i fear the wait may be a bit longer for us brisbanites, there are mushrooms growing everywhere at the moment with all the rain, but no actives! good luck to you all, peace
