Just browsing the Internet & came upon a site that offers these strains of cubes.

Man I was in a good mood too. That fucking asswipe is called the Keeper or that is what he calles himself..some of his pics are stolen from me. He was banned from here a long time ago.

Probably all from the same print. Charging a fortune for people who want to have every type of cubensis in their collection. But people who have every strain will be around long enough to realise this is BS.
Is that "z-strain" still around, I remember people charged a fortune for it.

Yes it is, and its a great strain. People dont charge a fortune for it...the Keeper does. He's got a dozen different sites that are all the same. I bought the Z's, Blue Meanies, And Creepers..all from shroomer sponsors though...havnt fruited the BM's yet but the other two strains are very nice and were regular prices (actually I think those might have all been free syringes).

Agar, did you look through the rest ofhis site...his 600 dollar mega kit and 100 dollar "Keepers Brew" (for liquid culture). Right around the time my reg date here...just before that I had been looking at his site for 6 months...waiting for the time when I could order his mega kit. Sounded great. I stumbled onto a UK board (magicmushroomforum.co.uk, the creators of Shroombay) and they tried to talk me out of it...I wasnt going to listen to them though...they're silly people over in the UK where growing is legal, what did they know right? :wink: Well, they pointed me to the shroomery after some time trying to convince me not to buy things from him because he's a well known rip off artist, but it sounded sooo good. All these crazy strains, he must be great to have created them and they'll be the craziest shrooms around, plus this keeper brew stuff is crazy (1cc of spores to make 1000 jars OMG!!! I'll never have to buy spores again!) Ect ect...

Yeah well anyways, after a few days reading at the shroomery I found out what they were saying and things started becoming clear. After a few more months research, I finally began purchasing supplies and the rest is history. Leaves me very happy with the shroomery and MMF..those guys are pretty good (and nice) over there..

lol, i remember the first time i looked at one of his sites... after about 2 minutes of looking at funny named strains i told my wife, i think this guys full of shit, i'd be lucky to get any strain off of him if i sent my money. so i go w/ people like spores101 (plug) and of course my old faitful Ralphsters (plug). well, i hope this thread steer some people clear of him!

Whats even lamer is people actually pay it...if you have a site like psilocybe.com that just gets millions of hits because of the name, people are bound to buy just because of the law of averages.

A strain will vary every time its grown by someone new, on a different substrate in different conditions. So now even GT's, arent GT's anymore (if you get spores from a seperate source). Natural and artificial selection causes differences in the strains...but basically it ended up in someones grow chamber being called that, who knows what it was to begin with (maybe he did take a GT syringe, or any other syringe), but what it is now, is its own strain. None of the other 15 strains I've grown out has been like the Z's, including GTs (GT's and Z's both gotten from the same source too, Ralphster).

All of his strains are renamed.

All but the Keepers Creeper have been identified...I think its a Isolate of the Cambodian...IMHO

And people are argueing over what the "Z" strain is.
Some say it's the GT...some say it's not.
