Hackjob humidifier

Well since i just recieved my ultrasonic and it was broken i need to scramble for a new way to keep humidity. I have plenty of fish tank bubblers from my old hydro grows and was wondering if i could put a couple jars of water in the tub and run the bubblers into them. This along with a perlite layer on the bottom keep my humidity up where i want it to be? I have space for 4 or so bubble jars.

Sure, but perlite should be plenty, especially if you mist once or twice a day.

The bubblers will provide fresh air exchange though, which the ultrasnoic wont even when it works..

Well the misting is what i want to cut out of the operation. I am gonna do a small two inch layer of perlite with one inch of water and then use the jars to provide extra humidity along with air exchange.

I have one fishtank airpump with a bubble stone submerged in a glass of water/h2o2 (the bubble stone is held down by glass marbles) and my humidity stays above 90% (can't tell how much because my hygrometer sucks balls! Don't buy Accu-rite brand!).

I'm a total newb and this has been working for me so far. I'm sure a little dish of perlite would probably help to get it a bit higher if needed.
