It's official - we're moving to Maui!

I just got the word that I passed my drug test, my physical and my fitness assesment exams. Now I can book myself a flight for the end of this month to go start my new job in paradise  :sun:

I'll be going there to prepare a place for my fiance, Gr8fulJ420, whom I'll be coming home to marry at the end of July  :heart:

I'm so excited! There is so much to do! I'm the happiest fiancee ever, and the happiest person on the shroomery  :grin:

I'm so glad that you passed that drug test! Not that I was too worried, cuz you haven't smoked in a long time. We should get high with some friends this weekend to celebrate! You know I'll only be a few months behind to that island.

Just what Maui needs... another pair of hippies moving in :-)

I'm actually in agricultural research- who knew there were farms on Hawaii!? There are actually a fair number of jobs on Hawaii, and if you can secure one, be ok with moving half of what you own and putting up with the super high cost of living out there, you can live in paradise too.

Or you can just come visit us :laugh:

I'm so happy to be moving to Maui, and yet it will be really tough to leave so many good friends and family behind :sad: The most important part is that I've found the man that I want to be my husband, and that makes me the happiest hippie of all :heart: :heart: :heart: :heart: :heart:

Just got my plane ticket... Leaving Sea-Tac airport at 7am on sunday. Cant wait to get there, Im going straight to the beach off the aairplane. Make sure to get a hold of me when you get out three. That is crazy that we are both moving to the same city... See you out there

Thanks for all your kind words. A Maui gathering might have to be in order once we get our stuff all situated and figured out. We are so excited for this move.... from the Midwest to paradise!

Beware the hot sand! I don't know how tough your feet are, but mine are really delicate, and I got some NASTY burns after trouncing around Big Beach looking for the hippies. My skin is still peeling off! Take some flip flops with you so that you can naviate over the volcanic rock :wink:

The interview went well. This guy also interviewed with Joe for the last job I interviewed for. Total farm boy, through and through. Only ever done ag in his whole life, and this job (working with markers) would be his dream. He's also available right now, which would make John feel better so he wouldn't have a gap after I'm gone.

Dad is in town, I think he's bringing me ice-creame!

You and I are signed up at 8, but David and Kelly have it before us from 5 til 8. So whenever we want to show up will be fine. Oij wanted to work with us tonite, and I think Seth waned to come and hang out and watch and talk with Kelly about his commisioned piece.
