Re: What The Bleep Do We Know.....? [Re: Phluck]
    #4013796 -

Which is it Phluck? I don't even know what it is I am discussing with you any more. On the one hand you say the movie gives out false quantum information while exploring the nature of quantum consciousness and then on the next, you say that modern science hasn't even taken notice of quantum consciousness. So how can they know what is false or not?

I don't know how I can go any further in this discussion with you based on your current knowledge. Not only did Harvard's Medical School open a CAM department Complimentary Alternative Medicine which deals in part with energy healing modalities but but an Astro Physicist with NASA who worked on Apollo missions has developed holistic healing technology through the use of the sub space quantum field. His invention is called the QXCI short for Quantum Xxroid Consciousness Interface. It was invented for use by Holistic Medicine Practitioners. That one has been out for 10 years. He has new one out now called the SCIO which just has a faster processor. My brother has the QX. I have experienced and seen what this thing can do. It'll blow your mind.

Until you get caught up to speed on whats happening in the field of quantum consciousness and quantum healing, I'm out of this aspect of the conversation. Yes, Depak practiced medicine and then incorporated his knowledge of quantum consciousness with it. Of course Quantum science is not Physical science. He had to cover physical science related to the human body in med school. That was the point.

I already explained about the scientists who participated in the making of the film. They signed contract agreements, were paid, and editing is normal practice in film making.

So what if the beliefs of the movie don't match those of the scientists? Who said they had to? The bottom line is that, if these guys actually said something that supported the ideas explored in the film then, the truth of what they said should hold in support of the ideas.

Did the scientists lie or not? If they told the truth of what they know and the movie used that knowledge to support ideas it was exploring then so what?

Perhaps what was edited out was science dogma in the eyes of the producer. They had a right to edit the interviews as they saw fit for the making of the film.

I don't feel sorry for these guys. They signed an agreement and got paid. Creative editing is a part of the film making process. If scientist want to keep their reputations in tact then maybe they should not agree to participate in films about meta physics. DUH! They need to take responsibility for the choices they made.

Regarding the ties to religion, I'll have re read the Whit Book tonight. You have even read it so how would you know what its based on. I remember Ramtha referring to his human audience as Masters and himself as a servant. I remember Ramtha teaching for people to become self mastered so they could serve themselves and become self led.

None of this sounds like the dictionary descriptions of the word religious you posted. I will read it again tonight and make corrections if I catch religious banter in it.

Barbra Streisand charged $1,200 per person for a concert ticket. The prices JZs school charges are for whole courses or retreat type workshops that include food and lodging with the course material. Those fees are pretty average for self empowerment courses and retreat workshops.

Have you researched any of this before you started talking here Phluck? I did and will continue too because I think people speaking out against the movie have been giving us a lot of misleading information. That's not cool.

Phluck.....I would like to hear what was wrong with the science presented in the movie.

One of the "scientists" even said that "quantum physics" was just a "bunch of crazy scientist trying to figure out what was going on with very small particles colliding at very high speeds" (or something to that effect)

He even admitted that they really dont know what to think about these experiments.

Just because "science" hasnt figured something out yet...dosent mean that it dosent exist....FAR from it. It takes people thinking "outside the box" to truly see the whole picture.

How do you think we went from believing the earth is flat to seeing the planet as a globe?

You (Phluck) cant dis-prove anything that was stated in that film so you attack it as "false science"

Auto-Summary
This forum post discusses the controversial film featuring Ramtha and its portrayal of quantum consciousness. The author challenges the idea that quantum consciousness is a rational concept based on quantum mechanics, arguing that it's a fabrication based on false information. They criticize mainstream scientists for not discussing the idea due to the need to alter quantum mechanics to fit the concept. The post also questions the editing practices in the film, suggesting that selective editing can misrepresent scientists' views. The author shares an example of a device called QXCI, which is allegedly used for diagnosing and treating health issues, despite being criticized by skeptics and the FDA. The post concludes by urging critical research and avoiding confirmation bias when evaluating such claims.

"Quantum conciousness" isn't a rational idea based on quantum mechanics. It's something someone with little knowledge of quantum mechanics fabricated based on false information about quantum mechanics. The reason mainstream science doesn't discuss it is because in order to discuss it, you need to alter what quantum mechanics talks about in order to fit the idea. Mainstream scientists have talked about the idea... like the one who they interviewed in the movie, who explained why it didn't make any sense, and then they edited so that it looked like he was agreeing with them.

Could you please explain to me what's contradictory about that?

I don't feel sorry for these guys. They signed an agreement and got paid. Creative editing is a part of the film making process. If scientist want to keep their reputations in tact then maybe they should not agree to participate in films about meta physics. DUH! They need to take responsibility for the choices they made.

The thing is, some of the things they said SEEMED to confirm what Ramtha talked about IF they were taken OUT OF CONTEXT. So if you edited out the other things they said, which disproved the stuff they were talking about, edited it around a bit, you could use misrepresent them and make it look like they were saying something completely different. There's a huge difference between honest editing, and dishonest editing. And the scientist I quoted said he learned his lesson, and won't be swindled again, even though the unscrupulous actions of someone who obviously cares more about trying to gain credibility for their theories than honesty have likely helped to unfairly damage his reputation.

Have you researched any of this before you started talking here Phluck?

Sure! When you did any research though, were you ready to think critically of what you were being told? Were you careful to avoid the confirmation bias? Did you double check to make sure that the physicists you were mentioned weren't guys who flaked out and were laughed out of the establishment?

QXCI TAKES A QUANTUM FLYING LEAP

This year, SOLV is taking a more aggressive approach against the many so-called ?healers? and other phony practitioners in the Las Vegas Valley who use pseudoscientific or unproven claims to separate desperate, gullible ?patients? from their money. It is SOLV?s position that such activity is criminal and should be prosecuted. To this end, we have formed an informal alliance with Tracey Brierly at the Nevada Attorney General?s office, who has shown significant interest in pursuing this type of consumer fraud.

The first item on our agenda with the AG?s office is the QXCI (Quantum Xrroid Consciousness Interface), a device advertised by local ?vibrational therapist? Laura Amendala (www.feelthevibrations.com). Her ad in Natural Awakenings (itself a ?Who?s Who? of quack practitioners) claims that the QXCI:

. . . scans your body looking for everything from viruses, deficiencies, weaknesses, allergies, abnormalities and food sensitivities by going to the cause of the problem instead of only working on the symptoms.

Amendala also asserts that the QXCI assesses ?brainwave patterns,? ?oxygenation levels,? ?hydration levels,? and ?much more.? Not mentioned in her ad is the claim advanced by many Internet websites that the QXCI does not just diagnose problems but actually treats and cures them as well. Dr. David Cohen, who describes himself as ?Quite possibly America?s greatest healer? (really!), explains that the QXCI ?filters body frequencies? then ?adjusts the Tri-vector Field to precise capacities? (see for yourself at http://www.healingnaturally.net/qxci.html if you don?t believe me).

Can?t find a QXCI near you? No need to worry, thanks to ?Distance Healing,? in which this amazing device can heal you from halfway across the world (or even the universe, theoretically) by tuning into your unique ?resonant frequency pattern.? All the system needs is a valid credit card, but don?t forget your paradigm shift! Using distance healing, the QXCI has reportedly improved a runner?s marathon time, energized the AC Milan soccer team to victory, and has allegedly been used by the chiropractor on cyclist?s Lance Armstrong?s physical therapy team ?for energetic diagnostics and treatment.? (http://www.mindspiritinstitute.com/articles.htm ).

The Quackwatch website has an extensive feature on the QXCI, describing it as nothing more than a basic GSR device that measures perspiration by means of skin resistance changes (http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/Tests/xrroid.html ). The QXCI was initially banned by the FDA until it was reclassified as a ?biofeedback? machine, but there is little question that its proponents have promoted it as a treatment device. Deputy Attorney General Tracey Brierly agreed, and an investigation is currently underway. More details as they become available.

See, one thing for example, one specific thing I agree with 100%, is the guy in the first five minutes of intro quotes who says

"Modern materialism strips people of the need to feel responsible, and often enough so does religion. I think if you take quantum mechanics seriously enough it puts responsibility squarely in your lap and it doesn't give answers that are clearcut and comforting. It says 'Yes the world is a very big place, it's very mysterious. Mechanism is not the answer but I'm not going to tell you what the answer is, because you're old enough to decide for yourself.' "

Just because "science" hasnt figured something out yet...dosent mean that it dosent exist....FAR from it. It takes people thinking "outside the box" to truly see the whole picture.

It's not even necessarily things that can be disproven though.

For instance, I could say "I know for sure that the universe is made up entirely of quantum inverse reactionary torus particles."

Can you disprove that sentance? You know why not? BECAUSE IT IS GIBBERISH.

The people in the film speak of "inflecting the quantum field", they say that "emotions are holographically-imprinted chemicals", they claim that "anti-gravity magnets" exist. What the fuck is this supposed to mean? Nothing! It's absolute garbage.

How do you think we went from believing the earth is flat to seeing the planet as a globe?

Through a process of logical investigation. Not by making up a bunch of random nonsense and calling it "science".

Look at this article:

What you posted on the QX is an absolute Joke. What did you miss about the part where I said I have used it for myself and have seen what it can do. It does a hell of a lot more then what was in that article you posted. It has over 900 programs. When you yourself have had your hands on one and have been taught how to use some of its programs and have tested it out for yourself, then you can talk to me about it.

You hand me bunk from a skeptics web site when I have access to an actual one. This thing has been sold worldwide for ten years and has even moved into an upgraded model. If something only measured persperation, do think its sales would continue to grow world wide over a 10 plus year span at the cost of $12,000? The first round of people would've asked for their money back and that would've been the end of it. No , it has grown in popularity, sales and use and has even experienced an upgrade along the way. It first came out in the late 1980s.

It does have limitations. It has a 88% -92 % calibration accuracy at this time which makes it only a general guide for preliminary diagnostics that require further medical testing to confirm diagnosis. Wilson makes this clear and stupid ass users have told people it is NOT a diagnostic tool and dip shit MDs have mis diagnosed with it when they relied on it soley. That is not to the fault of the inventor or machine. I can see why they would be tempted to trust in it soley because its freaking impressive.

Dude, this guy is the inventor of tri vector subspace technology used on Appolo missions. You can confirm that.

I have tested it out for myself. I didn't read about it, I didn't hear about it, my brother HAS ONE. If it was useless no body would pay $12,000 for one. You get to test them out for yourself first. Who the hell spends that kind of money on something that measures perspiration?

You did a quick web-search on a skeptics web site of a holistic quantum healing device. What did you think you would find? Skeptics have shit out there on everything.

And you accused me of not being critical doing my Ramtha research. What a croc look in the mirror on that one. I posted something from a watch dog site. I went after her and her school with absolute lust for finding something awful on her before I spoke up. The worst I found I posted. I didn't find anything so bad as to justify the accusations made agaisnt her or her school.

I repeat, I have used the QXCI personally and ran it through hundreds of tests. I have seen first hand much of what it can do. I said it was mind blowing. I would have to write a book to list all I saw it capable of doing.

Some guy with a skewed bias throws the word quack out and you automatically believe the heresay?

"Oh, someone I never met on an internet site called someone a quack. Okay, I believe they are."

If you want to call me a liar Phluck then thats your call. I stand by all I said! If any of you can get your hands on one, you'll be impressed to know whats out there. Anyone can go test one out and see for themselves. There are no hidden tricks here. When you personally have spent at least a month working with it every day, then tell me about it.

This is like you having a loaded $80,000 automobile and someone trying to convince you based on a skeptics site that the best it can do is turn on its head lights. Imagine how you would feel, if someone did that to you here, when you drove the car, used the ejector seat, took hair pin turns at 90 mph, and played with hundreds of other features on the car yourself.

I stand by what I say as anyone can test one for themselves.

Havn't you heard of anti gravity air hockey tables that use granite magnetics? Phluck, either you don't do your research before you speak or you are looking in the wrong places for the info you get.

I will go find the link. It's already been developed. Havn't you seen those desk top toys that have something floating using magnetics? Come on, this stuff has been around for a while now.

Here is an experiment you can try at home phluck. Take two magnets and hold one over the other and watch the bottom one defy gravity and float up to meet the one held in the air above it. Oooooooooh

Dude, this guy is the inventor of tri vector subspace technology used on Appolo missions. You can confirm that.

Well, the only sites claiming that appear to be his own. What the hell is tri vector subspace technology, and how was it used on the Apollo missions, might I ask?

From wikipedia:

Quote:
In mathematics, if a set with certain properties is called a space, then a subset of which with same properties is usually called a subspace. Those with entries in Wikipedia are:

* Linear subspaces (also called vector subspaces) in linear algebra;
* Topological subspaces in topology.
*
o* There is a fictional notion of subspace used in science fiction; see Hyperspace (science fiction).

Sounds like maybe he fabricated the idea in order to sell his fraudulent machines.

Funny how there's NOT A SINGLE STUDY related to the QXCI listed on PubMed. You'd think that if the damn thing was showing results, someone would have bothered to actually do some studies on it.

I have tested it out for myself. I didn't read about it, I didn't hear about it, my brother HAS ONE. If it was useless no body would pay $12,000 for one. You get to test them out for yourself first. Who the hell spends that kind of money on something that measures perspiration?

I believe in the con game they're referred to as "marks".

Just because someone is making extraordinary claims about medical devices, and people are believing them, and swearing by them, is not proof that they actually work.

This is why the double blind study was invented. There are tons of fraudulent medical practicioners out there, and every single one of them has an army of placeboing followers who will swear that psychic surgery, reiki, magic stones, etc...

The simple fact that people can be convinced of various things does not prove a damn thing.

Magnetic force being used in a manner that overpowers gravity is not the same as a magnet that can be used to make anything defy gravity. Ever tried making yourself float in a magnetic field?

Just because the FDA has done some things wrong, doesn't mean that every single thing they do is part of some huge conspiracy with pharmaceutical companies.

They got a train to do it
http://search.aimhome.netscape.com/aim/b...aglev-train.htm

It's a matter of time before they can make humans do it without magnets strapped to them. Before anyone dumps serious money into the research and technology, we have to find a practical or money making use for it. I can't think of one yet. Why spend all the money on the tech and research to levitate a human in a controlled field? I definitely think its possible if someone wanted to work it out and had the time and money to waste on it.

For all I know, some may have already done it. I can barely keep track of my daughters schedule let alone the latest advances in science tech. There are just to many for anyone too.

Yeah, that's using a magnet against a magnet still. Of course you can make someone levitate by attaching a magnet to them, but that's not an anti-gravity device any more than hoisting someone in the air with a rope and pulley is an anti-gravity device.

No...but I have seen large magnetic fields "float/levitate" non-metallic, organic objects, in a very small space....too small for a human.

It takes HUGE amounts of energy and hasn't found a practical use.........yet..........but the technology is out their clicky.

"Anti-gravity" implies that gravity has been defying, not simply overpowered by another force.

As for nightowl's third link, I stand corrected. Interesting stuff. With the first one, gold is a metal.

Anyways, back on topic, could you please explain to me how emotions being "holographically imprinted chemicals" makes any kind of sense at all?
