BrainWave Generator... This thing fucking works!

I don't know how many of you have tried out the BrainWave Generator (BWG) on the "Trippy Downloads" link from the Shroomery here, but you have GOT to try this!

I have a little experiance with meditation, and am okay at it. Recently I've been able to reach what I can only describe as a third level up. The first level being when you can finally sustain awareness without thoughts. The second level being where you can feel your bodies energies shifting around. And the third level being where you can focus those energies deliberately.

For me, the third level always seems to start with the energies being focused in the middle of my forehead in the same area that me and my siblings used to tickle each other by holding our index fingers in front of the forehead without actually touching the head. We can actually FEEL a tickling sensation that soon becomes unbearable, even though there is no physical contact whatsoever!

Anyways, so I downloaded the BWG a while ago and thought it was cool, but never really tried it out. Well the other night and a few minutes ago I tried it out, setting it on the "Deep Meditation" mode. Whenever I use it I find it incredibly easy to reach that third level, but unless I intentionally focus your attention/energy into that nothingness like I do in normal meditation, the level is hard to sustain.

The other night that I tried it I was kinda stoned, so I couldn't focus for shit, and just fell asleep with the headphones on, which was nice. But just now I tried it out sober and directed all my effort into maintaining that level.

HOLY SHIT!! The intensity of the energy in the middle of my forehead was incredible! I was able to direct the energy in ways that can't be described in words or even thoughts. It is something that can only be understood through experiance (as I'm sure you shroomheads have felt that before)! It actually got so intense that I felt it was probably a good idea to take the headphones off and let my brain come back to normal!

I always find it hard to fit meditation into my daily life because it is so time consuming, but with this BWG it will be much easier! I will also practice without it, of course, since I don't want to become reliant on it like a crutch. But I feel that being familiar with these higher states will make it easier to get there again.

I suggest you guys go check this thing out! I will try to find a link and post it for you guys. It's cool too, because you can copy the tones down to .WAV format and burn it on a CD or even put it on your mp3 players and take into the forest or whathaveyou.

Don't be afraid, or too lazy, to expand your mind without drugs!

Damn, I have had this for a while now....  I tried a few times when I first DL'd it with little more than sleepyness....  Perhaps I will try it again now....!  :smile:

yup need headphones, i have holosync and hemisync both works great can feel alot of different in memory and thought process.

YES you NEED headphones. Specifically ones that have independent Left and Right speakers. The whole point is that each ear hears the pulsing at opposing rhythms. It explains it all in the HELP guide. I suggest reading a bit of it before trying it out.

When I tried it while stoned it put me to sleep, just like you said. But when I applied my knowledge of meditation to it, it totally worked. And don't have it up too loud, it's supposed to be quiet or barely audible, otherwise you will just get a killer headache... trust me!

It would probably help if you already have a little practice meditating. Otherwise I would try working my way up from "Focused" mode, to "Basic meditation" to "Deep meditation".

I gotta see if I can find some headphones....  I need to get off of here and read a bit, then do some more practicing at my meditation....  I have tried the last two nights, and I end up falling asleep at some point....!  :lol:  Should prolly~ not be laying in my bed with the lights off when I try to meditate....!?  :rolleyes:  :smirk:    I hopefully will have more time this weekend to practice and read a lot....

Yeah I downloaded that program before and recently read about it in a magazine but never had a portable music player. Well, I did but at the time it was broken... time to fill up my ipod!

Why does it say not to use it while "under the influence of psychoactive substances"?

I mean, they must have a reason to say this, but just the fact that they tell me not to do it makes me want to try it out! I mean, if it's forbidden, there's GOT to be something cool about it! LOL!

Here is what I usually experience with these waves, different flavours with different frequencies, but the same thing in the core..

a sense of drifting, like geting lost and not knowing where I am,
different "colors" of darkness in front of my closed eyes.
Although its all black it somehow shifts between different kinds of black (I know it makes no sense, but that's poetic freedom)
A slight pressure on my forehead, as if my sinuses are being pressured.

I've been using it to "enhance" my hypnotic games, it really changes what I experience
