The Day/Night Temperature

Well i've been trying to initiate pinning in my casing for 2 days now. I'm being very patient and am not going to bitch about it lasting too long (because of course its not even close to time yet.) . I am going to ask though about my temperature of my kids. For "daytime" (AKA when the light is on) the temperature is a steady 85. For "nighttime" (AKA when the light is off) the temperature is a steady 77.8 (seriously, it doesn't sway from that). Is this a good range of temperature? or should I get a heat source on that rubbermaid at night. I am calibrating my hygrometer, so I couldn't tell you what the humidity is right now, when the light is off, but there is condensation on the sides, so i figure it's a-ok... When the light is on, I'm fairly sure its 90-95% rh in there. I'm sure this is just a matter of tweaking the temp and rh, because I believe it's in the range it needs to be for pinning (correct me if i'm wrong) Oh yeah, I'm growing P.C. Cambodia. Thanks very much for helping me out guys gals and other, cheers, abudiwa

You got the temperatures right. Those casings will pin when they're ready.

Ok... I'm just curious now. I cased this batch on the 12th, and I let it colonize in the dark until the 19th. On the 19th is when I began r/h conditions and temperatures that cause pinning. Would I be looking at a week before actual pinning and fruiting? When should I start to be concerned? As much as I am unsure about it, when should I consider cold-shock? Just so I know these things and don't clog up the board with dumb-ass questions later at the last minute. I'm wondering what the average timeline is for Cambodia. I hear it's a bit of a fast colonizer/pinner. This is my first batch... I've done spectacular so far, I just don't want to screw it up. Thanks for all of your help, cheers, abudiwa -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- "What? No! We can't stop here! Yes, they usually pin within a week after colonization of the casing layer. Mist them once a day until you see pins, then stop. And of course, fan 2 - 3 times a day. You're almost there. Oh, yeah, cold shocking is not needed for cubensis.
