Type of plastic to use when making a martha closet?
    #3992109 - 03/30/05 07:25 PM (19 years, 2 days ago)

I was just wondering what kind of plastic I should use to make a martha closet? I'm looking for something somewhat thick.. Any suggestions?

i think with the price youd have to pay to create your own, youd be better off just goin out and spending the $30 for a nice 36" original ;p

It doesn't seem logical to build your own when you can pick up a 3-4 tier mini greenhouse up for $20-30.

Anyways, if you're set on building your own, pick up a roll of 2-4 mil plastic sheeting from Kmart,Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

It's definately possible...but may not be worth the energy/money.

You could get stand alone shelves from K-Mart/WalMart/Home Depot/Lowes. $25-45

Then buy 6 mm plastic sheeting to wrap around shelves. $10 depending on size.

But for the price of all that it would be easier to just buy the marth and find some stand alone shelves that will into it.

EDIT: ya beat me to it diver, lol

Thanx for the feedback..
I'm working on building the closet on a very low budget and exactly the size of my closet.
With the plastic sheeting i should be able to do it for cheaper..wish me luck
